Patient Information for Exquisite Smiles

My first visit

If you are like most patients you appreciate being informed before arriving at the dentist office. Below is an overview of what you can expect from Dr. Alexander and the Exquisite Team.

Let’s Get to Know Each Other- Your first visit is not only about our team getting to know you, but also you getting to know our team. In the time we spend together we encourage you to ask questions, express your concerns and share with us anything you would feel that is important to help make your care as individual as you are.

Part of getting to know you and providing safe, personalized support involves reviewing your medical history. Certain medical conditions and medications can influence your treatment. You will be asked to provide a list of your medications and their dosage (including vitamins and supplements). Next, a full-mouth series of x-rays, along with a panoramic x-ray and Inter-oral pictures will be taken. The doctor will then perform a comprehensive oral exam of your teeth, gums, mouth and jaw, including a non-invasive oral cancer screening.

You are in Exquisite hands - If you haven't been to the dentist in a while, please don't worry. You have taken the first step in an important decision - no need to feel guilty. Once your entire exam is completed, Dr. Alexander will talk with you about his findings. Together you can create a healthy, effective treatment plan that best meets your dental and personal requirements. We can prioritize and stagger your treatments to give you the smile you need in a timeframe you can afford.
